In Search of the Future of Radio: Coming Soon
Yes, there IS a future for radio, and it is online. As ownership consolidates and terrestrial listeners dwindle, radio is quickly becoming a content provider that also happens to broadcast over-the-air.
The huge benefit to stations using devices like NewTek TriCaster is that instead of waiting for the next ratings book, they enjoy immediate web metrics on what is successful and what isn't. That sort of instant feedback can really help crush the competition.
