NAB Radio Board Chair Don Benson has appointed Emmis Communications COO/CFO Patrick Walsh to the NAB Radio Board.

Walsh is filling the unexpired term for the designated board seat held by former Cox Media Group executive Marc Morgan who recently resigned.

In his role as COO, Walsh leads Indianapolis-based Emmis Communications’ domestic radio division comprising 20 large market radio stations.

Walsh also provides oversight and support to the international radio station group and city/regional magazine publishing operations.

Before joining Emmis in 2006, Walsh was senior vice president and chief financial officer at iBiquity Digital Corp. in Columbia, Md.
