Accessories maker Goby
Labs’ distributor Hosa Tech said a group of stands is now
shipping.
Of most interest to radio broadcasters will be
the GBM-300 ($97.95) mic stand with boom and the GBD-300 ($79.95)
short mic stand with boom. Stand trunks and booms are metal. The trunk has a
mid-point locking grip while the boom is governed by a pivot lock.
An interesting accessory — that is compatible with the stands
— is the GBX-300 ($42.95) Tablet Frame for iPad. The GBX-300 locks down
iPads on all four sides making it possible to mount an iPad on a stand, much as
a mic can be mounted.
Hosa says that frame adapters
will be made available for future iPads.
