Terrain analysis software developer SoftWright has new ownership and leadership.

The developer of the Terrain Analysis Package announced that Dr. Jason Burkholder is the new CEO. He is joined on the management team by John J. Reilly and Dr. Todd A. Summers. All three have a background in electrical engineering, including advanced post-graduate degrees in the field.

Former owners Larry D. Ellis and Michael Wiebe will remain involved with the company in an advisory capacity, according to a release. Curt Alway will remain with sales.

Burkholder said SoftWright will continue to develop RF software tools for the radio telecom industry. “Our strong development team is committed to a steady stream of product updates and new features that will keep TAP at the forefront of radio engineering software with regards to performance and usability.”
