Glensound Honored with IABM Design and Innovation Award

Glensound was awarded an IABM Design And Innovation Award for their GS-MPI004HD HD Voice Broadcaster’s Mobile Phone.
The company won the award with its portable version of their HD Voice mobile phone system. HD Voice is a mobile phone voice technology that allows a 7 kHz audio connection over a normal 3G phone call.
The technology connects as a traditional voice call, and this allows it to be independent from missing or fluctuating data rates because it does not rely on data or Internet protocol.
Senior Design Engineer and lead project designer Ian Burns to collected the award and said, “I don’t get let out much, but it was great to come up and collect such a prestigious award and gain recognition from my peers for the many, many hours of work that we put in developing Glensound HD Voice.”
