FCC Finalizes IBOC Rules

Commissioners have finalized the long-awaited details to the IBOC rules.

HD Radio proponents have been waiting for the details, since the commission voted as reported here to finalize the rules. They now have voted on a Second Report and Order, First Order on Reconsideration and Second Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking . The FCC now seeks comments on the 2nd R&O 60 days after publication in the Federal Register.
