EPG, HD-R Power Are on the Agenda

The possible future radio electronic program guide will be among the topics of discussion at engineering sessions of the fall NAB Radio Show.

The association is assembling its session lineup; one of the panels is about the HD Radio EPG Project. That discussion will be moderated by Rick Ducey of BIA Financial Network and include David Maxson of Broadcast Signal Lab, Nick Banks of Unique Interactive and Joseph D’Angelo of Ibiquity Digital.

Also on the agenda is a sessioin about the possible implications of higher-power IBOC, moderated by Geoff Mendenhall of Harris; it will include Jeff Detweiler of Ibiquity, Dan Dickey of Continental, Ted Lantz of Broadcast Electronics, Gary Liebish of Nautel, Milford Smith of Greater Media and Mike Starling of NPR.
