Northeast Leads in HD Radio Rollout

The HD Radio rollout is the most advaced in the northeastern region of the United States.

According to an analysis from BIA Financial Network prepared for the Radio World HD Radio Scoreboard in the Sept . 1 issue, 13.8% of stations in that region are on the air with the digital radio format. The south-central states lag all other regions at 7.8% on the air.
