ABC News Radio is now part of the mSpot Radio mobile phone channel lineup.

ABC officials see the relationship as a way to give more people access to ABC News audio content. Steve Jones is VP/GM.

mSpot Radio already has deals with content providers like CBS Radio, Clear Channel, Fox Sports, Marketwatch, NPR and Radio Disney, and live radio stations from various cities, providing content on mobile phones

.

It launched its mobile streaming radio service in 2005 and says 2 million paying consumers now use its services via Sprint, Boost and U.S. Cellular as well as providers in Canada.
