Air America Radio said it reached tentative agreement to be acquired by Stephen L. Green, the New York Times reported.

Green is chairman of a real estate investment trust; the paper said he has been providing interim financing to help the network meet costs. His brother Mark has hosted on the network.

Meanwhile, lead talent Al Franken is leaving; the network said his last broadcast will be Feb. 14. He reportedly is considering a campaign for a Senate seat.

The network has 81 affiliates.
