The newest automation system from Arrakis Systems is Digilink-HD (shown), to be featured at the NAB Show.

Arrakis says that it is designed for major-market radio markets. It can network up to 10 local stations, and with remote access, can connect station groups anywhere in the world. Digilink-HD is customizable and has modules for scheduling, production and traffic.

Also at the Arrakis booth will be New~Wave Lite live assist software. New~Wave Lite is a Windows-based software for small and Internet stations. It programs up to 24 hours ahead and has an auto-fill function to prevent dead air.

On the hardware side is a Bluetooth interface for ARC-10 and ARC-15. Arrakis explains that the feature “allows users to connect cellphones, MP3 players, tablets or any Bluetooth-enabled device to the console. Take calls over the air using your cellphone or play music or audio directly off a Bluetooth-enabled device.”
