As the political season moves forward, the NAB eagerly is pointing out how broadcasters are so often at the center of the political debate through the debates between the candidates that stations host.

In the latest issue of the NAB newsletter Licensed to Serve, the industry group recounts a large number of debates hosted or broadcast by TV and/or radio stations. And while TV does generate the most attention, some radio stations have managed to get involved either on their own or in partnership with a TV station.

Highlighted are the efforts of WGAU(AM), Athens, Ga., KERA(FM), Dallas, KSL(AM/FM), Salt Lake City and KSJQ(FM) and KFEQ(AM), St. Joseph, Mo.
