A Digital Radio UK webinar is set to get underway Thursday July 5 from 2–4 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time.

The virtual gathering, targeted toward broadcasters, manufacturers and VMs, will discuss “optimal user experience for service following and traffic announcements.”

The webinar, says the organizers, will provide the opportunity for participants to give their opinion as regards what defines a good user experience for these particular features.

Digital Radio UK is currently running a technical trial to test the implementation of service following and traffic announcements on DAB. This trial has now been extended and will finish on August 15.
