FCC Chairman Will Speak at NAB

The chairman of the FCC will participate in the spring NAB Show.
The National Association of Broadcasters announced Julius Genachowski will speak at the Chairman’s Breakfast on the show Tuesday.
Genachowski was appointed in June 2009. Earlier he co-founded LaunchBox Digital and Rock Creek Ventures, and was a special adviser at General Atlantic. He was a senior executive at IAC/InterActiveCorp, chief counsel to FCC Chairman Reed Hundt and special counsel to Bill Kennard, when the latter was the commission’s general counsel.
The convention will have a separate “Washington Showcase” featuring FCC Commissioner Meredith Attwell Baker, also on Tuesday.
