Omnia Audio hints that too much eggnog might be responsible — but never mind, a deal's a deal.

Purchasers of an Omnia-5EX HD+FM processor will receive the more expensive, more powerful and feature-filled Omnia-6EX HD+FM instead. Omnia declares that to be a nearly $4,000 bargain.

The Omnia-6EX sports dual channels (one for FM and one for HD, if you'd like), six-band limiter, five-band AGC with adjustable crossovers — powered with 24-bit, 96 kHz processing. Also in the box is a look-ahead limiter for HD Radio uses, a non-aliasing digital clipper and a Dorrough loudness meter.

The offer is in the holiday spirit and thus limited in time.
