Registration Opens for 2012 IEEE Broadcast Symposium

Registration is now open for the 2012 IEEE Broadcast Symposium.

The event takes place Oct. 17–19 in Alexandria, Va.

The technical program includes presentations on topics like broadcast towers and the government’s national broadband plan, spectrum use and broadcast audio issues.

Half-day tutorials on broadcast IP technology and broadcast engineering computer simulation tools are included as well.

This year’s luncheon keynote speakers are NAB EVP/CTO Kevin Gage and Capitol Broadcasting VP for Policy and Innovation Sam Matheny.

For those unable to attend in person, symposium sessions will be streamed live over the Internet and also archived.

Up to 2.5 Continuing Education Units are available to attendees.
