Salon de Le Radio Meets in Paris
The Salon de le Radio, slated for Feb. 9–11, promises to offer attendees three days of full immersion into new techniques and technologies in image and sound. It will also showcase gear and services for radio broadcasting.
Sporting a new name, this year’s event, which organizers say, offers an ideal platform for business networking, will feature some 50 paper sessions and workshops, focusing on topics such as programming, technical issues, advertising, imaging, research, marketing and digital development.
“We changed our name from Le Radio to Salon de la Radio (French Radio Show) and we are pleased to attract all radio professionals during our event, which is free for visitors,” said show founder Philippe Chapot.
The 2014 gathering will also play host to the Union Radiophonique et Télévisuelle Internationale (URTI) general assembly, as well the “Prix ON’R,” annual radio awards.
As of press time, show organizers noted more than 2,500 registered attendees for the 2014 edition of Salon de Le Radio, which will be held near the Champs Elysées in the center of in Paris.
