CBS Radio’s Philadelphia operations continue their Sandy relief efforts, now engaging Mark Knopfler and Bob Dylan.

The CBS Philly properties, 98.1 WOGL(FM), SportsRadio 94WIP(FM/610WIP(AM), Talk Radio 1210WPHT(AM) and KYW(AM) Newsradio 1060, partnered with event manager/ticket broker Live Nation to obtain a large block of tickets for the Knopfler/Dylan benefit concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Monday, Nov. 19.

The tickets will be used as premiums for people donating $20 or more to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

Also on the Sandy front: On Monday in New York at Cumulus station WABC(AM), Geraldo Rivera broadcast live from a Salvation Army relief site at Island Park on Long Island. The event raised $140,000.

Listeners were given phone numbers and text addresses where they could donate. Singer and actress Katharine McPhee called in promising to match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000.
