American Public Media programming such as “Marketplace” and “The Current” are being made available to Slacker listeners.

APM Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at APM David Kansas said, “Internet radio is a rapidly growing platform for accessing audio content, and our partnership with Slacker Radio represents an important opportunity for exposing our content to new audiences and expanding access to our content via new platforms.”

The business news show “Marketplace” and music showcase “The Current” will each have their own “stations” at Slacker. Marketplace’s various modules will be available separately.

Slacker, a free audio content provider, is available for PCs and mobile devices iPads, iPhones, Android and BlackBerry device as well.
