Slacker Goes to Xbox 360

Here’s a question for radio broadcasters — is your station/group/network available on Xbox 360?

You might laugh dismissively but the time someone is using the Xbox is thus time they are not listening to your content. Furthermore, Microsoft is pushing the Xbox to be an entertainment hub, capable of not only playing games but streaming content from local servers and the Internet. It wants to lock people into its device.

Internet audio service Slacker understands that and is making itself available to Xbox 360 users. Slacker is even developing a dedicated channel for video game music, “to be curated by popular gaming culture blog, Destructoid.”

Currently the service will be limited to Xbox 360 LIVE subscribers.
