Yahoo! and Internet music provider Spotify have signed a deal described as a “a global content distribution and promotion agreement that will enable Yahoo! to integrate and promote Spotify’s on-demand music service on Yahoo!’s Media Network…”

In other words Spotify will be available on Yahoo and it will make many of Yahoo!’s content channels, such as Yahoo! Movies, available on Spotify.

A Spotify button will soon appear on many Yahoo! sites. The button will allow access to a user’s Spotify account while visiting a Yahoo! site. In the planned Yahoo! app, Spotify will be “integrated,” according to the companies.
