There’s never a shortage of sports radio news these days. In between the launching of two new sports radio networks comes news of a few individual deals.

KTWN(FM) in the Twin Cities will become a full-time Twins outlet, airing all games in the regular season and playoffs (assuming the Twins were to make the playoffs).

Current Twins host is ESPN’s KSTP(AM). It will remain a partner next year, airing Twins-related programming since KTWN isn’t a full-time sports station.

The catch is that KTWN is owned by Northern Lights Broadcasting, which is owned by Twins owner Carl Pohlad and family.

The New York Yankees have extended their agreement with NYC rights holder WCBS(AM). WCBS will carry all regular and post-season Yankees games in 2013. WCBS has been the Yankees New York home since 2002.
