Eicher is again planning to get friends together to remember Scott Beeler and
hit some golf balls.
This will be the 11th Scott Beeler Memorial Golf outing held on the
eve of the NAB Show in Las Vegas. Beeler, who worked for ERI, Harris Corp. and Allied, died in 2002 after a
car accident.
“All you have to do is get a couple of us
together, any night, at any time of year and inevitably — at some point
during the evening — the conversation will shift to a story about Scott, followed
by another and another — deep into the night,” writes Eicher in his email
invitation.
This year’s event is on Saturday April 6,
with a four-person scramble format and a shotgun start at a new time, 1 p.m. (Recalling
last year’s chill, Eicher added, “Maybe
it will be warmer in the afternoon.”)
Rental
clubs will be available for $65 prior to the start for those that need
them. The venue is the Revere at Anthem.
