The Sporty now sports compatibility with MPEG 4 HE-AAC v2 and MPEG 4 AAC ELD.

Sporty also supports WLAN, UMT/3G wireless connection options. As part of its basic functions, Sporty operates as a codec (G.711, G.722, L2, L3) and offers the option to also record to USB thumb drives or SD cards. It also offers Ethernet, ISDN and PCMCIA card interfaces.
