| Commission Begins Sorting Through MX’d NCE Applications |

Of roughly 3,600 applications it received in the application window for noncom spectrum, the FCC said it has processed about 800.
Those were either “singletons” and could be quickly accepted for filing, or needed to be dismissed due to settlements or because they were above the 10-application limit.
Late last week, the agency issued a list of 263 groups, each consisting of four or fewer mutually exclusive applications. This is just the first batch of so-called “MX’d” applications, the agency said.
Any applicant who believes their filing has been included or excluded from this latest list by mistake should tell the FCC.
Also, if anyone in the just-released group is negotiating a settlement or pursuing time-sharing deals, they should tell the Media Bureau, otherwise the bureau will begin comparative analyses following a 30-day comment period.
