How do you sell the “new radio”?
Sandusky Seattle will find out. It is the first radio cluster to earn Certified Digital Marketing Consultant accreditation from the Radio Advertising Bureau.
The association said 31 sales, promotion and management employees completed the one-and-a-half day course last month.
The CDMC provides information and instruction on how to sell radio’s interactive components and then tests the participants to award them accreditation. Initially, the program was offered at RAB2008 but it has become one of the most sought-after educational programs it offers, RAB says.
CDMC will be available online beginning in May and include live self-study classes, webinars, a blog for interaction with trainers and an online final exam.
