U.S. radio and TV broadcasters, and particularly those in the southeast part of the country, are among those targeted by the Latin American Broadcast Show in Miami in August.
LABS ‘08 also is aimed at Latin American broadcasters elsewhere in the hemisphere.
“Broadcast Depot created the Latin American Broadcast Show in 2005, as the first U.S.-based broadcast trade show dedicated to introducing new radio and television equipment technology to Latin American broadcasters throughout the Americas,” said U.S. Sales Manager Chuck Maines.
The event is set for Aug. 4 and 5 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Miami; it will have exhibit space for 60 booths, to be shared by U.S. manufacturers of broadcast equipment.
“For manufacturers who don’t speak Spanish, translators will be provided so that presentations can be made in both English and Spanish, allowing our attendees to more comfortably absorb the valuable information being presented,” Maines said. Radio-related sponsors include HD Radio, Harris, Orban and Nautel.
Registration is open now, and is offered at half price until the end of June.
