WKND(AM) is being sold to Gois Broadcasting.
The 500 watt urban-formatted daytimer at 1480 kHz in Windsor, Conn., carried a price tag of $150,000. It covers the Hartford market.
Broker Patrick Communications said this is the last remaining station owned by Freedom Communications of Connecticut, which earlier sold two other AMs, WLAT and WNEZ, to the same buyer for $2.65 million.
Gois also owns WORC(AM) in Worcester, Mass.
