Volvo drivers in Canada will get a chance to use Clear Channel Radio's Total Traffic Network without an additional charge.

Clear Channel and Volvo Cars of Canada said this week they've signed a deal. Owners of a 2009 XC90, S40, V50, C70, C30, S80, XC70 and V70 vehicle equipped with a factory-installed navigation system will have access to the traffic information over RDS-TMC (Radio Data System Traffic Message Channel).

The agreement is an example of Volvo's "dedication to providing new options for safe driving," stated Jeff Littlejohn, executive vice president of distribution development for Clear Channel Radio.

CCTTN supplies real-time traffic data to an estimated 500,000 subscribers.
