Tom Creighton Dies

3.28.2008

Engineering consultant Tom Creighton has died.

Jack Mullaney reports that the Florida-based Creighton had lung cancer and died March 20 on his 76th birthday.

“Tom proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine and worked for several manufacturers in the broadcast industry during his life,” Mullaney said in a note to colleagues. “Tom was a good friend of AFCCE and a good friend of mine.” AFCCE is the Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers.

Creighton had requested that no service be held, preferring to be cremated with his ashes distributed on Anna Marie Island in Florida by his children and his wife, Pat.
