The Pittsburgh cluster of Clear Channel is using BIA Information Network’s ActiveAccess desktop application.
BIA says the app gives listeners an interactive experience while listening to the programming of the stations. A local McDonald’s business is the sponsor for the app at WXDX(FM) and WKST(FM).
Listeners visit the station sites and download a file; then they can participate in broadcasts through interactive contests, promotions, printable coupons and music requests.
