Comlab’s Davicom division donated a MiniMAC2 Transmitter Remote Control unit to SAIT Polytechnic’s Broadcast Systems Technology program.
It said the donation will allow students to become familiar with modern remote control technology that can operate over dialup and Internet connections.
Jim Murtagh is academic chair of the BXST program at the School of Information and Communications Technologies. Andrew T. Mulrooney is director of Canadian sales and support for Davicom.
SAIT’s BXST program is accredited by the Society of Broadcast Engineers. The educational organization’s central campus is in Calgary.
