| HHB: If It’s on a Disc, UDP-89 Will Play It |

HHB says its UDP-89 universal DVD/CD player delivers broadcast-quality audio and video playback, and has interfacing features that make it suitable for mobile and fixed installations.
The UDP-89 is compatible with a number of disc and file formats including CD, CD-R, CD-RW, SACD, DVD-Audio and DVD-RW. MP3 audio also can be played.
The company says the inclusion of a multi-channel preamplifier makes it possible to connect the UDP-89 to an active 5.1 speaker system, with convenience enhanced by a volume control that can be controlled remotely via RS-232 or the supplied infrared remote control.
Users with space limitations will like that the UDP-89 can be mounted in a 1U rack space.
The unit features Wolfson 24 bit/192 kHz audio DACs and high-end analog circuitry. Additionally, it has stereo and 5.1 balanced audio outputs for high-resolution SACD and DVD-Audio formats.
