Legends Gather in New Orleans
Five winners of the NAB’s coveted Radio Engineering Award
will take part in a roundtable discussion at the "Engineering
Legends" session, part of The NAB Radio Show in New Orleans,
on Thursday, Sept. 6.
Michael Dorrough of Dorrough Electronics, Geoff Mendenhall of
Harris Corp., Arno Meyer of Belar Electronics Laboratory, Charles
Morgan of Susquehanna Radio Corp. and Robert Orban of Orban/CRL
will discuss technical trends and engineering management issues
in a talk moderated by Radio World Editor Paul McLane.
"This
is a rare opportunity to meet some of the finest engineering minds
in our business all in one place," McLane said. "We’ll
ask about digital radio, broadband, radio technology, their personal
innovations and the state of the industry. I feel very fortunate
to have these outstanding engineers on our panel."
